Join us the first Saturday of each month 5-mile hike around Lake Abilene. Hike starts at 9am. You will need to obtain an entrance permit at the park headquarters at 8:45am. We will meet at the first parking lot by the lake entrance. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring plenty of water. Dogs are allowed but must be on a 6ft leash.
Come join us Friday, June 17th at 10a.m. at the main library downtown for this month's Friday library series. This month's topic is Gardening with Natives! Should be a great program! We will be in the basement. Just come through the doors and the elevators will be straight ahead or the stairs are to the left.

This group strives to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within our community. At this session, guests will learn about some interesting insects native to our area and more about the nature around us right here in Abilene.
