Entries will be accepted from any resident of: Taylor, Callahan, Fisher, Jones, Nolan & Shackelford Counties. *Entries will be accepted beginning November 15, 2021. 42 nuts per variety in a re-sealable, plastic bag.*Office hours are 8a.m. to 5pm. When: February 10 – April 26th. One day a week. Typically on a Tuesday or Thursday from 6pm – 9pm with 2 Saturday classes. Where: Taylor County AgriLife Extension offices on the Taylor County Fairgrounds. Cost: $200 – includes all supplies and speaker fees for the class. The Annual Town and Country Women's Fair is on Tuesday, February 22nd in the Display Building at the Taylor County Expo Center. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with presentations wrapping up about 2 p.m.
Come join us for our first Star Party of the year at the Abilene State Park, next to the swimming pool parking lot. Setup starts at 6:30 and ends at 11:00. Come and go. Bring lawn chairs and red lights if you have them. No white lights. Dress warmly!
