Join some of our Texas Master Naturalists on the first Saturday of each month for a morning hike out at Abilene State Park. Normally the hikes are at the lake, but this month we will be meeting by the swimming pool at Abilene State Park because the lake is being used for a private hunt. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. Be sure to dress for the ever-changing Texas weather and don't forget your water!

We ask you dim headlights when entering swimming pool area so people observing the stars don’t lose their night vision. The walk starts at 9 and usually ends around 11:30am but at times we do go longer depending on weather and how the hike is going. You are welcome to end your hike whenever you see fit.
