Please join us for this month's Star Party at Abilene State Park. Meet us across from the swimming pool in the open area (soccer field). Please bring red lights if you have them. We ask you dim headlights when entering swimming pool area so people observing the stars don't lose their night vision. Join some of our Texas Master Naturalists on the first Saturday of each month for a morning hike out at Abilene State Park. Normally the hikes are at the lake, but this month we will be meeting by the swimming pool at Abilene State Park because the lake is being used for a private hunt. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. Be sure to dress for the ever-changing Texas weather and don't forget your water!
Join us for our free monthly program at the Abilene Public Library Friday, January 13th to learn all about preparing your garden for spring vegetables. This is a free event open to the public. We will be at the downtown library starting at 10am in the upstairs auditorium.
