Monthly Public Hike at Lake Abilene w/Big Country Master Naturalists

Join some of our Texas Master Naturalists on the first Saturday of each month for a morning hike out at Abilene State Park. The walk starts at 9 and usually ends around 11:30am but at times we do go longer depending on weather and how the hike is going. You are welcome to end your hike whenever you see fit.  Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. Be sure to dress for the ever-changing Texas weather and don't forget your water!

Please join us for this month’s Star Party at Abilene State Park. Meet us across from the swimming pool in the open area (soccer field). Please bring red lights if you have them. We ask you dim headlights when entering swimming pool area so people observing the stars don’t lose their night vision.
