Join the Big Country Master Gardeners the 2nd Thursday of the month for our programs given at the Abilene Public Library - Main Branch downtown. The Main Branch is located at 202 Cedar Street. The program starts at 10 am and runs for roughly 45 minutes to an hour. This month's topic is: All About Succulents. This event is free and no registration is required.
The Big Country Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists is now accepting applications for this year's Master Naturalist Volunteer Training class. Big Country Wheat Conference is Thursday, August 15th! 8:15 - 3:45 (Registration opens at 7:45 morning of the conference. Join us for our Wings on the Wind Festival at the Abilene State Park Saturday, September 21st. The festival will start at 10am and end at 2pm. This is a come and go event, so come when you can. Entry into the festival is free.
